Network marketing requires some very simple principles
that demand your attention if you intend to build
a successful business.
While these principles may be simple,
they are in no way intended to be dismissed.
There is a wealth of insight that can be gleaned
for anyone willing to invest the time and energy
that is necessary to not only read the principles,
but also apply them.
Let's take a moment to explore one very important principle,
keeping in mind that while this may seem to be geared
for the newcomer in network marketing,
even the more polished network marketer can stand the reminder
of the simplicity of what we do while in the trenches.
Making a Consistent Effort is Key!
If you're anything like me, you've taken on the challenge
to achieve a specific goal and decided to plow forward
with all your heart and soul to make sure you accomplish
the task placed before you.
Whether it is weight loss or fitness,
saving for a high priced item,
personal development or overcoming your fears,
chances are you've set out to achieve something
at some time in your life. Right?
In order for you to accomplish the task at hand,
you will have to apply consistent effort and energy
towards achieving the end goal. Without consistent effort,
you will not reap the financial benefits and rewards
that come when working consistently.
Now that would be rather frustrating, would it not?
Yes!!!! So, let's be consistent!
Consistency takes discipline and for some, that just isn't easy.
It's those small, often mundane tasks that are performed
on a daily basis that will make a difference
in driving your business forward.
Left alone, these are so small that they seem almost meaningless.
It's when you pull all of these small tasks together
that you will begin to note progress.
Keep in mind, it's okay to work a business part-time or full-time,
but never spare time.
Do yourself a favor and don't expect anything positive to happen
if you are working your business as if it is a hobby.
You'll save yourself a lot of heartache because quite frankly,
the garden isn't going to grow if the garden isn't tended.
With that in mind, establish office hours each day
when you can devote time to your business, without interuption.
If it's difficult for you to work your business uninterupted,
then you will need to find times during the day when you can
be productive and professional at the same time, without interuption.
Moms and Dads, that may mean that you will have to find a quiet place
and while that may be a challenge, it is necessary.
I've heard numerous times that people just don't
have the time to build their business.
It's an unfortunate statement because
the fact of the matter is that
we all have 24 hours in every day.
It's what you do with your time that
displays your priorities.
If you really want to be successful,
you'll have to sacrifice something in order
to work your business consistently and push
your business to the level of success you are looking for.
Remember, this is not a race.
You are working on your own time clock
and while there may be some in your networking business
that take off and seemingly make it to the 'top'
within a very short period of time,
most of you will find that success comes with consistent effort
and without the limelight of being the fastest person
to build a business in the shortest period of time.Sabrina C.
